Category: Collectibles

Estimated Ship Date: October 2026

From Godzilla Minus One, the Monster of Odo Island—Godzilla [2023]—joins the S.H.MonsterArts line. Based on its pre-transformation appearance in the film, this version captures the terrifying form that destroyed the Defense Force on Odo Island. Sculpted and designed by renowned kaiju artist Yuji Sakai, the figure was created using CG data from the movie to faithfully recreate Godzilla’s more dinosaur-like proportions, including its forward-leaning posture, larger head, and slimmer torso and legs.

Every detail has been carefully reproduced, from the unique skin texture to the distinct shape of the dorsal fins. The paint application highlights the creature’s lifelike presence while emphasizing the intricate sculpting across the body.

With an impressive range of articulation, the figure allows for dynamic posing, including the signature upward roaring pose seen in the film. A special display stand is also included, featuring the Godzilla Minus One logo and the Japanese characters used to represent this pre-transformation version of Godzilla.

Stella ★★★★★

The sculpt really captures that pre-transformation look from the film, and the paint job on the dorsal fins is a lot more detailed than the promo shots suggested. Shipping not until October 2026 is a long wait, but the final product feels worth it for a Minus One fan.

Violet ★★★★★

The articulation on this one is incredible—those tiny dorsal plates and the skinny proportions really capture the Odo Island look before the big glow-up. Pre-ordered back in June and the wait until October 2026 feels brutal, but the sculpt detail is worth it.

Emily W. ★★★★★

Finally, a figure of the scrawny pre-nuke Godzilla instead of the bulky evolved form. The sculpt really captures that gaunt, unsettling look from the film’s opening act, and the October 2026 ship date gives me time to clear a shelf spot for it. Worth the wait.
