Bandai Movie Monster Series Godzilla (2019)

The articulation on the dorsal fins is surprisingly sharp for a 6-inch figure, and the paint job has that oily, wet sheen the 2019 design deserves. It’s a solid, hefty chunk of plastic that feels great in hand, and the tail balances nicely on the shelf.

The sculpting on the legs and tail is incredibly detailed for a 6-inch figure, making it look just like the movie version. It stands well on its own, which is great for displaying on my shelf. So glad I finally picked this one up.

The 6-inch size is perfect for shelf display without taking over the whole collection, and the detail work on the dorsal fins and face is sharp enough to hold up under close inspection. Only slight knock is the joints can be a bit stiff out of the box, but they loosen up after a few poses.
