Bandai Movie Monster Series Godzilla (1974)

The paint application on the 1974 Godzilla is incredibly clean, especially around the dorsal fins. I love that the sculpt has that distinct, somewhat goofy expression from the film. It stands out perfectly in my display with the other Showa era figures.

The sculpt really captures the angry look from the 1974 film, and the paint on the dorsal fins has a nice metallic sheen. It stands solidly on its own and feels heavier than I expected for this size.

The pose is dynamic and the sculpt captures the suit's classic look well, though the joints on mine arrived a little stiff and took some working in. Articulation is decent for a figure this size, but the tail doesn't hold a pose as securely as I'd like for the price point.
