Spiral Toy Artisan Dynasty 哥吉拉 2014 001 Sofubi

The glossy brown vinyl has this almost liquid shine in person, and the Ogawa-Kougei craftsmanship is obvious in every sculpted scale. It’s heavier than I expected for a sofubi, which makes it feel like a proper centerpiece.

That glossy brown vinyl is so rich in person, and the texture feels exactly like a proper sofubi should. The metallic accents are subtle but give the sculpt real depth when it catches the light from different angles.

The metallic accents catch the light beautifully, and the glossy brown vinyl has that satisfying heft you want from a sofubi. Knowing it was cast at Ogawa-Kougei in Japan makes me appreciate the craftsmanship even more — it's a centerpiece on my shelf now.
